In the interests of employees wellbeing, Engage EHS will be holding a 'Do Nothing Day' on Friday the 4th of December for its staff. The following is a message from Engage EHS CEO, Darragh Geoghegan.
I’d just like to give you all a heads up and ask forgiveness if this annoys anyone.
Like most companies the team in Engage have been under quite a bit of pressure over the last number of months. Sales have kept moving, customers still needed support and guidance and the product team have kept churning out updates and new features but the world around us all was a little chaotic and unpredictable.
As with most, when working from home it has been difficult to draw a line between work and home life, difficult to take time off and hard not seeing colleagues for support, creativity and some banter.
Anyway, we are trying to support the team and one such initiative is a “Do Nothing Day”. The idea is simple, its hard to shut off, so if we all shut off together, then maybe it will be a proper day off, allow the mind to not enter work mode, be pinged with notifications and have some time to do something you want with those you want to do it with. That day is tomorrow 4th Dec.
So this means we won’t be responding your emails, the live chat won’t be active and we won’t be taking calls. I know if you are in the middle of your own job with your own objectives and you want to ask something this could cause you some stress, but I ask you to be patient, let the team that have supported you over the last 9 months have a day of downtime to recoup.
We will back with you next week!
