A smart but simple system, that ticked all of our boxes
Jenni Morland, European HS&E Manager
TR Fastenings Ltd (TR) is an international specialist in the design, engineering, manufacture and distribution of high quality industrial and Cat C fastenings principally to major global assembly industries. TR has 31 business locations within the UK, Asia, Europe and the USA including, eight high volume, high-quality and cost-effective manufacturing sites.
Why Choose Effective Software?
TR Fastenings had several reasons for partnering with Effective Software. They were managing health and safety internally using spreadsheets and word documents. This system was disorganised and difficult for employees to keep track of, especially when dealing with separate locations.
TR Fastenings now uses the Audit and Inspection, Incident Management and Risk Assessment Software from Engage EHS. Incident reporting is of particular importance in the Manufacturing industry. Using the Incident module, our users can report incidents in realtime quickly and accurately with immediate response. Our mobile capabilitles tackle under-reporting of incidents and hazards and let companies like TR Fastenings to engage employees across the whole oraganisation.
TR Fastenings were also beginning the journey to ISO 45001 accreditation. The ISO 45001 standard specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and the Effective system is there to make the process easier for them.
The team at Engage EHS looking forward to working with TR Fastenings for a long time, supporting all of their health and safety goals through the continued development and improvement of our software.
