Losing time on paper-based audits and checklists
Before Effective, BOC Gases relied on a paper-based system for their audits and checklists. This cost them greatly in terms of time and productivity. Using the Audits module and mobile app they are now seeing a dramatic decrease in time spent on checklists.
Getting employees actively engaged in the auditing process
It was difficult to get employees to engage with safety when using paper. After performing audits on the field, they then had to spend time typing up data. Our mobile safety software app has completely streamlined this process and made it much more enjoyable for employees.
Giving management proper oversight of activities

An online solution that saves time and improves engagement
According to Keith, their ‘primitive’ paper-based system was incredibly time consuming when completing audits and checklists. Duplication of data and documentation was a problem and with no photo evidence it was difficult to prove that audits were performed at the right place and time.
The Effective Software mobile app lets users create and complete ad-hoc audits anywhere, online or offline. Images can be attached to audits which are completed with electronic sign-off. The Audits module also provides excellent oversight for the entire business, with a notification platform that allows Keith to see any changes that are made or anything that is missed or overdue.
Keith was also very happy with the interactions with the Customer Success team in Effective, who were always responsive to any issues his team had during the onboarding process.
